With Service Pack 3, the following changes become effective:

User Operation and Display

  • The Project Selection dialog considers changes in upper and lower case of directories in the list of the recently opened project files.
  • Improved the display of text fields and images

  • UNC paths can now be used for image file sequences.

Functions and Scripts

  • CASL function GetMeasurementString: From function arguments with symbolic conversion table or status text table you can determine the respective text of the current value.

Data Mining

  • Date format of Data Mining hits considers language settings.

Driver Assistance

  • Automatic camera calibration for object overlay has been added. Fish eye and wide angle lenses are now supported.

Measurement Data Visualization and Manual Analysis

  • Virtual measurement file channels can be displayed with their input signals on an absolute timeline
  • Virtual signals with algebraic expressions also support signal names with dots.

Working with Measurement Files

  • The MATLAB Export converter for measurement files can optionally create a hierarchical structure based on dots in the signal name.
  • The standalone tool CallConverter.exe for measurement file conversions controlled via command line needs up to 4 GB main memory on 64-bit operating systems.
  • The ASCII Import converter for measurement data allows again the setting of floating-point numbers for the time raster.
  • Problems with the Vector Logging converter occurring on some systems have been fixed.
  • Saving a part of a measurement file (MdfSplit) also supports files with signals of variable length and a lot of cycles.
