Requirements Analysis and Design of the Distributed System
The party responsible for the system first defines the network topology and refines the design to the level of the network nodes. This includes definition of messages and selection of the baud rate for the network. Finally, the bus behavior of individual network nodes must be specified in the form of statistical data. On the one hand these data can be evaluated by CANoe to arrive at preliminary findings regarding bus load and latency times to be expected at the specified baud rate. On the other hand, this specification can be utilized to check the phases that follow.
