The GL1000 compact data recorder for CAN, LIN, analog channels and CCP/XCP is the optimal fleet solution for logging CAN and LIN data communication. Messages are saved and evaluated based on the loaded configuration. Because of its low current consumption in sleep mode, the GL1000 is excellent for vehicle testing. The logger’s compact size makes it easy to install in your vehicles. The GL1010 is a variant for applications in rough sourroundings.
The high memory capacity of the SD/SDHC memory cards also makes the GL1000 practical for long-duration recordings. In addition, the GL1000 supports logging of analog measurement data during a test drive, such as battery voltage, as well as internal ECU parameters via CCP/XCP.
A configuration tool is used to configure the data logger for different types of use. The data is logged based on the configured filter and trigger conditions and is then evaluated in CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, CANgraph or MS Excel.
Logger Diagnostic Functions
The loggers of the GL family offer a comfortable diagnostic interface and allow comprehensive collection of vehicle information. The diagnostic data is cyclically or event-driven read from the ECU of the vehicle and time-synchronously recorded with all other logging data. The diagnostic requests are simply configured via symbolic selection of CDD, ODX, PDX, and MDX files. The loggers support the common diagnostic protocols UDS and KWP2000.
